The company is pleased to report that Trios Property has achieved re-accreditation of the Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility. The Charter has been created to help boost the local economy, through support to the local supply chain, creation of job opportunities and ensuring employees are paid a fair wage.
It comprises a set of guiding principles to which Birmingham City Council (BCC) adheres to and to which it invites its contracted suppliers, the wider business community and other public sector bodies to adopt.
On accepting the Trio Property application, Councillor Majid Mahmood, Cabinet Member – Value for Money and Efficiency, said:
“I am delighted to congratulate you on your company’s recent achievement of meeting the high standard to be reaccredited to the much coveted Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility.
“Through delivering your commitments to the Charter principles as set out in your agreed action plan, you have shown how the values of corporate social responsibility have been embedded into your organisation, helping to improve the economic, social, and environmental wellbeing of Birmingham and its citizens.”
Working through its partners Acivico, Trios Property is currently engaged in a range of projects for Birmingham City Council. These include mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance, in addition to compliance and rapid response services.
