The Trios Group are now a proud signatory of the Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility and received their certificate from Councillor Stewart Stacey, Cabinet Member for Commissioning, Contracting and Improvement at a ceremony on the 7th of January at Pincent Mason’s office in the city. Pictured are Councillor Stacey, Harvey Kingscote, Contract Manager for the Birmingham contract and Rob Marriott, Marketing Director for the Trios Group.
The Trios Group now offers a full range of facilities support services nationally, but retains its Headquarters in the city where they deliver Mechanical and Electrical Services to both the City Council’s major buildings and schools and the West Midlands Police, via the Construction West Midlands Framework.
What is the charter?
The Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility is a set of guiding principles to which Birmingham City Council (BCC) will adhere to and to which it invites its contracted suppliers, the wider business community, other public sector bodies (including schools) and third sector organisations (including grant recipients) to adopt.
The Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility aims to boost the local economy through support to the local supply chain, creation of job opportunities and ensuring employees are paid a fair wage.
